Joy Killed the Duke consists of four energetic idiots from Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Established in 2019, they have been all over the Dutch live music scene with their unique female-fronted blend of grunge, punk and garage.
On stage they exhibit a hyper-energetic and positive attitude. With their bright-colored outfits the band members distinguish themselves from other bands within the genre, because deviating from the norm should be the normal thing to do.
The band performed throughout the whole Netherlands at venues such as KINK In Touch, De Neushoorn, Stathe Utrecht and De Gigant.
They plan to become a household name in the Dutch pop circuit by touring music venues and festivals.
