Boxcar (USA)

Boxcar is the St. Louis folk/pop band that showcases the songs of Jorge Valcárcel.
Their new album, “St. Louis” highlights their ability to sculpt earworm pop songs that are both catchy and poignant.
The two-singer format lets the harmonies shine and choruses soar. Their all original songs sound at once familiar and innovative; and possess the ability to connect to music fans of all ages. Currently, their new singles are being played by independent radio stations across the country. They have played from Hawaii to New York, Chicago to Minneapolis and beyond!

Selected for the prestigious LoFi Cherokee Music Video Series for their song, “Million Miles Away”. KDHX 88.1 FM St. Louis has called Boxcar a “band to watch”. A US Coast Guard veteran himself, Jorge and Boxcar were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the County and City of Los Angeles, CA for their work with Veteran groups. Currently Boxcar is set to release their third full length album this fall 2023.
