Ryan Crys and the Rough Cuts (USA) Outlaw Country
From Denver, Colorado, Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts bring a shot of new energy to fans of the heroes and outlaws of country music. Influenced by legends like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, they drive their sound with blazing guitars, overdriven tube amps, and a straight-up rock ’n’ roll attitude.
The Rough Cuts pay respect to classic country, but they’re far from traditionalists. Their music blends the grit and swagger of outlaw country with the raw energy of ’70s rock ’n’ roll — built for fans who like their country loud, dirty, and unapologetic.
The band has released five studio albums and earned nominations at the Ameripolitan Music Awards. Ryan Chrys has been recognized as Songwriter of the Year by the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards, Entertainer of the Year by the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame, and Musician of the Year by the Mountain West Country Music Association.
They’ve toured extensively in the US and abroad and shared the stage with many of their biggest influences, including Dwight Yoakam, Shooter Jennings, Blackberry Smoke, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bellamy Brothers, and more.
The band consists of 4 unique individuals all with their own accolades, including Michael on drums (former drummer for Jackson Browne) and Susan Phelan on bass (former women’s professional wrestler.)
** Recommended for fans of classic country, outlaw country, and ’70s rock ’n’ roll.**
